Sing out for Summer
Thornden Hall, Chandlers Ford
June 2011
The West End Singers dedicated their summer concert to the charity after one of their members, Joyce Simmons, lost her husband to pancreatic cancer. The choir was joined by The Bossard String Quartet to provide a wonderfully eclectic range of music from composers such as Elton John and Freddie Mercury, to John Rutter and Herbert Howells. The retiring collection conducted on behalf of PCRF raised almost £500.
