The Great British Duck Race
Adopt a duck, be part of a world record breaking event and help raise funds for PCRF!
£10,000 prize for the first duck to cross the finish line!
The existing world record was set last year when 165,000 ducks raced down the Thames.
This year, the Great British Duck Race takes place on Sunday 31st August, on a 1km stretch of the River Thames near Hampton Court Palace. At 12.30pm on 'Duck Day' a quarter of a million individually numbered plastic ducks will be dropped into Molesey Lock and then released into the Thames to begin the race, which should take around two hours. The ducks will be carried by the current to the finish line.
