David and Mark Woodcock were doing the run for the second time, in memory of
their friend Enid Webster.

Their 'manager' Nadine, married to Mark and Enid's best friend, led the cheering committee and confirmed that the atmosphere was terrific and everyone had a brilliant day.
Chris Glover admitted he hates running and much prefers "the warmth and ambience of the pub", but decided to take on his first 10K run in memory of his grandmother, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2007. He completed the run in a very respectable 53mins 25secs.
