Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
Bake & Share
A big thank-you to everybody who did a Bake & Share event during November's Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
Tables across the UK were laden with cakes and goodies being eaten in aid of the charity!
The events were a great success and proved to be a fun way to raise funds and raise awareness of the need for more research into pancreatic cancer. Here are just a few of the stories:
| Louis and Taylor Hughes Bake & Share: Louis and Taylor (centre), with help from friends at Rise Park School, raised over £240 from their cake sales in memory of their dad who died in 2011 aged just 40. | |

| Julie Gladman Bake & Share: Julie organised her Bake & Share with her colleagues at Gearbulk in memory of her dad, and raised an amazing £500. Said Julie, "I must admit that exceeded my expectations. It was so much fun to have everybody bringing in their goodies - we had 2 large tables groaning with all sorts of cakes - and even more fun to eat them !!" |
