 Telling supporters how their money is being used

We work hard to keep supporters informed about the research their donations are funding. As part of that, two conferences were organised for PCRF supporters in October 2009 - one at Barts Hospital, London, the other at Liverpool University. Researchers being funded by PCRF were invited to talk about their research and answer any questions.

PCRF supporter Martin, from Stoke-on-Trent, whose wife Wendy died of pancreatic cancer, said afterwards:  
"Thank you for inviting me to the conference. It was good to hear that so much research is ongoing, and also good to hear the enthusiasm the researchers have for the developments in the future....It was good to talk to some of the others who attended and know they completely understood what I'd been through."

As new research projects get underway, we'll be organising more conferences for supporters in the future.
