Jo Hansford becomes a Patron
We’re very pleased to announce that Jo Hansford – hair colourist to the Duchess of Cornwall,
Liz Hurley and Helen Mirren amongst others – has agreed to become one of the Patrons of PCRF.
Jo’s husband, David, died in July 2001 of pancreatic cancer –
the same disease that had killed her mother more than three decades earlier.
Jo Hansford’s success is marked by many firsts:
Jo was the first female hairdresser to win the Financial Mail's Enterprise 2000 Award,
the first female to win Looks Magazine Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year Award,
the first female to launch her own range of hair care products
and ultimately the first female to open a colour specialist salon.
The self-belief and determination that Jo has shown in creating her highly successful business,
run from her salon in the heart of Mayfair, will be great assets to the charity.
