Meet the scientists

The scientists and clinicians who carry out research into cancer are our heroes, and none more so than those who work on pancreatic cancer.

This particular cancer poses a very tough challenge for researchers - it's difficult to diagnose, can spread rapidly, and quickly develops resistance to traditional chemotherapies. Funding for research has also been hard to come by. Despite this, those working on PCRF-funded research projects are dedicated and highly motivated. Find out what drives them:
