Both highly prestigious events bring together oncology professionals, researchers, and industry representatives from across the field and around the world to share their latest scientific advances in laboratory as well as patient care, to mark cutting edge research of excellence and innovation.
First was 2025 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting in Chicago, USA at the McCormick Place Convention Centre – North America’s largest convention centre. The 4-day meeting took place in April, with over 23,000 delegates from 81 countries attending.

Second was the ASCO (The American Society of Clinical Oncology) Annual Meeting in Chicago from May 30 to June 03. This event also took place at McCormick Place, with over 40,000 delegates joining either in person or online.
Professor Kocher returned very positive about the value of the conferences and reported enquiries from other researchers globally including many US and Chinese biotech firms, impressed with the quality and range of the Tissue Bank’s data and the diversity of the samples it contains compared to other Tissue Banks.
