Donations in lieu of flowers

Many families nowadays are deciding to ask for donations to charity as an alternative to flowers for a funeral.

If you have lost someone to pancreatic cancer and are arranging a funeral, asking for donations to Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is a special way to remember them and help improve survival chances for future patients.

There are a number of ways you can arrange this:

• Many funeral directors offer the service of being the receiving point for donations. They then forward them to the charity, at the same time notifying the family of the total donations received. If you choose to arrange donations this way, you need to provide the funeral director with our name and address (Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, PO Box 47432, London, N21 1XP) and let friends and family know the name and address of the funeral directors as the place to send their donations.
• You can set up an online In Memory page for donations. It's easy and secure through our Justgiving link. You create your own personal message and you can add photos if you wish. Once you've created your page, you just email the link to family and friends - wherever they are in the world. They can leave their tributes when they donate. Donations made this way are paid automatically to the charity.
• Cheques (payable to Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund) can be sent to us direct at PO Box 47432, London, N21 1XP. If you'd like us to notify you of the total donations made this way, please let us know a contact name and address and who the donations are in memory of.

• You can donate by post. Send your cheque, payable to Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund to us at PO Box 47432, London, N21 1XP. If you are a taxpayer, please remember to Gift Aid your donation. Remember to include a note to let us know who your donation is in memory of.
